You Can’t Trust Your Health to Any Cookware
Ceramic cookware, stainless steel, Cast iron, what to buy??

I was so excited when they came out with ceramic pans; seriously these pans are lightweight, using no oil. I couldn’t wait to order them.
With little to no reviews on these pans, I decided to order 2 different brand names, I was hoping they both hold up but to my surprise…they did not.

I purchased 3 Piece Green Earth Frying Pan Set with Textured Nonstick Ceramic Coating.
They are in fact wonderful – for the first few months, until the greblon ceramic coating starts to wear off and IT DOES. The first one I had cooked eggs beautifully with no oil, they’d slide off and the pan was a easy to clean. After a while the shiny surface becomes matte and everything starts to stick. Which is inconvenient, yes. But worse is that the greblon ceramic particles must be going somewhere (into the food?) and the material underneath increasingly comes into contact with the food. Buying these pans is like buying Teflon, comes off each time you cook.
I emailed amazon and within 2 days I was sent a return-shipping label.

My second pan I order was Zwilling JA Henckels Twin Spirit Thermolon Fry Pan, 12 inch. These Zwilling fry pans are the best I have ever purchased I prefer them to Le Creuset porcelain coating cast iron pans. The pans are heavy but not too heavy, they heat quickly and evenly and yes they are nonstick. Food cooks beautifully in them and I wish I had found them sooner. I am unable to speak for long-term wear but the quality is apparent so I am hopeful that the non-stick interiors will hold up.

Le Creuset cast iron pans are wonderful to own and I have been using them for 5 years and the coating is the same from day one.  Just wish they were not so heavy for me.
I own one stainless steel fry pan; it took me awhile to learn how to use it without everything sticking to it. The trick is, warm up your pan on low slowly 5 minutes. Then add oil, but not any oil. High temp oil, like grape seed oil or coconut oil, works the best. Your food will not stick, comes out tasting great.
I love to cook , just hate hard to clean kettles.
